CRRES Graduate Affiliate Anna E. Acosta Russian has been honored with the Latino Faculty and Staff Distinguished Graduate Student Award. This award recognizes graduate students who have made important contributions to the Indiana University Bloomington campus and Latino community. Anna has been recognized both for exemplary academic work, as well as efforts to create a more positive campus climate. She has served on the IU Sociology Public Sociology committee and as an emissary for Graduate Student Diversity for The University Graduate School.
