The Center for Research on Race and Ethnicity in Society (CRRES), located in Bloomington, Indiana, provides a multidisciplinary intellectual space for the study of race and ethnicity in the social sciences and humanities. The Center focuses on facilitating and enacting scholarship, mentorship, collaboration, and community.
About the Center
- To contribute to the IUB intellectual climate by offering a place where an interdisciplinary group of faculty, postdoctoral scholars, graduate students, and undergraduates can meet, interact, collaborate, and advance research on race and ethnicity;
- To create a space where faculty and students feel supported in their efforts to build a research program that incorporates the topic of race and ethnicity; and
- To offer training opportunities for postdoctoral scholars, graduate students, and undergraduates through workshops on special topics and opportunities for research experience and collaboration.
