Drs. Pamela Jackson and Christy Erving are awarded the 2021 North Central Sociological Association's Scholarly Achievement Award

Pamela Jackson

CRRES Inaugural Director and Faculty Affiliate Dr. Pamela Jackson and Dr. Christy Erving (IU PhD, 2014) are awarded the prestigious North Central Sociological Association's Scholarly Achievement Award, for their article “Race-Ethnicity, Social Roles, and Mental Health: A Research Update,” published in Journal of Health and Social Behavior. This winning paper was ranked highest by a three-member committee of judges, following selection from a highly competitive pool of nominated works. Drs. Jackson and Erving will be honored during an awards ceremony at the NCSA's annual conference.
