Renowned poet, Professor of English, and CRRES affiliate Ross Gay recently published a piece titled "The Joy of Caring for Others" in the New York Times. His essay explores the forms of care that arise in the time of COVID-19, when masks, distancing, and fears of contamination would, on the surface, appears to pose barriers to forming connections with others.
