About the PI
Dr. Keitlyn Alcántara is an assistant professor in the Department of Anthropology exploring foodways as tools of empowerment and health equity. Her work centers community-based research models, and the use of archaeology for understanding the origins of current food and health inequities in the U.S. and Latin America.
