About the PI
Dr. Patricia Basile is an Assistant Professor of Geography at Indiana University, Bloomington. Her work examines the urban political economies of racialized dispossession and displacement, and grassroots movements and efforts struggling for housing justice. As a critical urban geographer, architect, and urban planner, she aims to conduct and facilitate community-based research and public scholarship that addresses housing challenges affecting low-income and racialized communities through theory, policy, and practice.
